Isotonix Delivery System

Isotonix - the World's Most Advanced Nutraceuticals
Isotonic, which means “same pressure,” bears the same chemical resemblance of the body’s blood, plasma and tears. All fluids in the body have a certain concentration, referred to as osmotic pressure. The body’s common osmotic pressure, which is isotonic, allows a consistent maintenance of body tissues. In order for a substance to be absorbed and used in the body’s metabolism, it must be transported in an isotonic state.

Isotonix dietary supplements are delivered in an isotonic solution. This means that the body has less work to do in obtaining maximum absorption. The isotonic state of the suspension allows nutrients to pass directly into the small intestine and be rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream. With Isotonix products, little nutritive value is lost, making the absorption of nutrients highly efficient while delivering maximum results

Key Ingredients

Magnesium (Magnesium Carbonate)
Magnesium promotes the normal synthesis of all proteins, nucleic acids, nucleotides, cyclic adenosine monophosphate, lipids and carbohydrates. Magnesium also promotes cardiovascular health by supporting normal platelet activity, helping to maintain normal cholesterol levels, and helping to maintain the normal regulation of the heart and blood pressure.*

Potassium (Potassium Bicarbonate)
Potassium is an essential micromineral that helps to maintain a healthy fluid and electrolyte balance in the body. Potassium plays a role in a wide variety of biochemical and physiological processes, such as promoting the normal synthesis of glycogen and proteins, promoting the proper release of energy from protein, fat, and carbohydrates during metabolization, promoting the normal elimination of wastes, and contributing to a general sense of well-being. Potassium supports the isotonic delivery system for dietary supplements.*

Digestive Enzyme Proprietary Blend (DigeZyme®)
[Amylase (1,200 DU), Protease (300 PC), Lactase (200 LAC), Lipase (10 LIP), Cellulase (55 CU)]
DigeZyme® is a multienzyme complex composed mainly of amylases (starch hydrolyzing enzymes), proteases (protein hydrolyzing enzymes) and lipases (lipid hydrolyzing enzymes). These digestive enzymes collectively support the breakdown of complex macromolecules into energy sources and promote the release of the nutrient content from the foods we eat. The digestive system naturally produces digestive enzymes. DigeZyme® supplements the gastrointestinal tract with enzymes to adequately support the body’s ability to digest food. In addition to the amylases, proteases, and lipases, DigeZyme® contains two additional digestive enzymes including lactase (lactose hydrolyzing enzyme) and cellulase (cellulose hydrolyzing enzyme). DNA Miracles Isotonix Digestive Enzymes supports the absorption and utilization of important nutrients and provides enzymes that promote the absorption of nutrients, in children who need digestive support.*

Amylase
Amylase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis – splitting of a compound by addition of a water molecule – of starch into smaller carbohydrate molecules such as maltose (two glucose molecules). There are three main classes of amylase enzymes: alpha-, beta- and gamma-amylase, which each act on different parts of carbohydrate molecules. The by-products of amylase hydrolysis are ultimately broken down by other enzymes into molecules of glucose, which are rapidly absorbed through intestinal walls.*

Invertase
Sucrase, also called invertase, is a digestive enzyme secreted by the villi of the epithelium in the small intestine that supports the hydrolysis of sucrose, also known as table sugar, into glucose and fructose. Glucose and fructose can then enter the blood stream and be used for energy. The source of sucrase in this product is from food.*

Papain
Papain is a sulfhydryl cysteine protease produced naturally in papaya fruit. It can be found naturally as a zymogen, or pre-enzyme, that is activated upon exposure to cysteine residues found in proteins. It has been shown to provide better support than other proteases due to the zymogen nature of the enzyme. Papain has been used traditionally to support digestion of tough animal meat fibers. Because papain is not chemically altered during its proteolytic activity, the enzyme is able to react multiple times per enzyme.*

Bromelain
Bromelain is a mixture of enzymes, primarily proteases, found in the pumice and stems of pineapple. It is one of the few enzyme extracts shown to support the breakdown of casein, the major protein found in milk. Bromelain supports normal digestion of grains (gluten) and dairy (casein).*

Fungal Protease
Proteases are proteolytic enzymes that work to break specific peptide bonds or break down a complete peptide to amino acids, which will eventually be used throughout the body. Oral proteases taken on an empty stomach are absorbed and carried into the bloodstream where they catalyze the hydrolysis of proteins.*

Kiwi Extract
Kiwi fruit is rich in the protease actinidin which supports the body’s normal ability to degrade cysteine residues in proteins. Proteolytic activity on cysteine amino acids promotes the liberation of the sulfhydryl groups from proteins.*

L-Glutamine
Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid, meaning that the body can synthesize glutamine, but certain conditions can require more glutamine than the body can produce. It is involved in more biological processes than any other amino acid. Glutamine serves as a source of energy for the enterocytes lining the gastrointestinal tract, as well as some immune cells (intraepithelial lymphocytes, IgA plasma cells and goblet cells, which are epithelial in nature and secrete mucin). Glutamine has been shown to support the normal proliferation of enterocytes leading to preservation of the villi barrier function of the small intestine. Scientists have discovered that glutamine can support the health of the gastrointestinal lining.*
